Kelly R. Hall, DVM

Originally from Wibaux, Montana, Dr. Hall is a 2002 Graduate of Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. His undergraduate work was in Animal Science at MSU Bozeman. He and his wife Elizabeth have owned and operated Headwaters Veterinary Hospital since September of 2005. Dr. Kelly Hall manages the large animal medicine and surgery center, as well as the canine orthopedic unit. When not working, Kelly can usually be found in his drift boat.



Elizabeth Ann Hall, DVM

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Elizabeth met Dr. Kelly Hall while completing her clinical rotations at Washington State  University.  A 2002 Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate, her special interests include canine theriogenology (small animal reproduction) and soft-tissue surgery. Dr. Liza Hall is the senior manager of the small animal unit and boarding facilities at Headwaters Veterinary Hospital.



Aaron Mackley, DVM

Originally from Montana, Dr Mackley received his DVM from Oklahoma State University in 2013.  He completed his undergraduate work at Montana State University.  Primarily a large animal practicioner, Dr. Mackley enjoys equine lameness exams, equine dentistry and reproductive work.  He is adept at cattle herd work and regularly visits local ranches for ambulatory large animal medicine and surgery.  In his downtime, Dr. Mackley enjoys ice hockey, golf and skiing.



Lisa Parker, CVT

Lisa was born in Buffalo, Wyoming.  Her family moved to Three Forks when she was 6 months old.  Lisa graduated from Three Forks High School and and went on to graduate from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.  In July of 1988, Lisa went to work for Headwaters Veterinary Hospital and has been with the practice ever since.  In June of 2000 Lisa earned her Certification as a Veterinary Technician.  Lisa is married with 2 children, dogs,  cats, and  horses.  In Lisa's spare time she breeds  Bulldogs, enjoys the outdoors and horseback riding.

 J Kane

Originally from Coeur d' Alene, Idaho . J has been with Headwaters Veterinary Hospital  since August of 2015. J shares the receptionist duties with Kim Chater. In his spare time, J enjoys working in his leather shop and playing music. He is an accomplished Bass player who has traveled the world.


Kim Chater, Reception

Kim is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Kim moved to the east coast where she received her degree in Human Ecology from College of The Atlantic in Bar Harbor Maine. She later served as Director of Mount Dessert Rock Research Station. Kim spent 8 years working as a lecturer aboard expedition ships to the Antarctic, the Arctic, the South Pacific and the Amazon region until she moved to the Falkland Islands where she and her husband raised two children on a remote wildlife sanctuary in the South Atlantic. Kim and her family recently moved to Montana where they raise belted Galloway cattle on their small farm in Pony.



Linda Melgren, Veterinary Technical Assistant

Linda was born in Hamilton, Mt. and grew up around the Missoula area, until she was 18 and moved to Three Forks with her family. After having two beautiful little girls, and marrying her husband of 9 years, Linda found her professional calling at Headwaters Veterinary Hospital as their Kennel Supervisor. Linda enjoys spending time with her family, singing, volunteer work,  baking, and of course, animals! Her "babies" include a Malamute named Duke, a rescued pit bull, Marley, and a 3-legged tuxedo cat called Mr. Buttons. 



Michael Stanton, Kennel Technician

Michael loves his job at Headwaters! He grew up in Southern California with German Shepherds. Michael loves animals and enjoys rescues very much. He has a wonderful Boxer who comes to work with him. He loves to hike off normal trails in our mountains. Michael also enjoys gold panning and back packing.

Jenna Reishus, Kennel Technician

Jenna grew up in the little town of Dupuyer Montana and attended University of  Montana Western. She lives in the Bozeman area, and joined Headwaters Veterinary Hospital in 2015. She loves animals and taking care of them.  Jenna loves to  read and ride horses.  Jenna's  very active border collie comes to work with her.
